Fabric Cuts
Please note that all our fabrics are priced per half metre (50cm).
When ordering please refer to the below units to ensure you order enough fabric.
1 unit/quantity = 0.5 metres of fabric
2 units = 1 metre of fabric
3 units = 1.5 metres of fabric
4 units = 2 metres of fabric
5 units = 2.5 metres of fabric
6 units = 3 metres of fabric
Fabric Print Size
We offer 2 different print sizes: Average and Mini. Please refer to the product title to ensure you are ordering the correct size. Please note that the fabric scale is +/- 1cm
Fabric width
Our fabric width is 145-155cm depending on the fabric base you order.
Please allow up to 10% shrinkage during washing/drying. Some fabrics are prone to shrink by 10% in the wash while others may only shrink by 2%.
Colour of fabric can appear different on different phone screens and computer monitors. Fabric may have a slight colour difference on different bases as well. Waterproof canvas and canvas seem to be the two bases that print more vibrantly compared to other fabric bases; whilst French terry can print more dull at times (this is rare but it has happened).
Care instructions
Cold machine wash with like colours. I recommend you prewash all fabric before sewing; although it is personal choice. If pre-washing please ensure you zigzag stitch around the cotton woven to avoid fraying.
Fabric Prints
Our fabric prints are designed by a group of Australian and International artists. We also purchase images and turn them into seamless designs, we design our own prints and we purchase seamless prints. Our pet fabric range is exclusive to Sew Much Fabric; every print available has been designed by us.
Return policy
Change of mind: If you change your mind you are able to return your order. The buyer MUST pay return tracked postage. The fabric MUST be in its original condition; unwashed and uncut. Once we receive the fabric and inspect it we will then process your refund MINUS the original shipping cost. You will only receive a refund on the fabric NOT postage.
If there is a fault or we have sent the wrong fabric we will pay for the return postage and we will then send out the correct fabric or refund it. If there is a printing fault and it is within 5cm of the edge of the fabric or is under 3cm we will not class this as unusable; fabric will still be sent.
