Fabric in this collection has an estimated shipping date of 6-8 weeks from the pre-order end date.
Pre-Order vs Retail Fabric – What is the difference?
Retail Fabric is posted within 2 business days.
Pre-Order Fabric (Will have Pre-Order in the title) is posted within 6-8 weeks of the pre-order closing date. Our Pre-order fabric is usually posted quicker although we like to allow enough time for any delays.
Retail and Pre-Order fabric ordered together will be posted together when the pre-order fabric arrives.
All Fabric is available in the following fabric bases.
Cotton Woven 145gsm (100% cotton)
Knit 220gsm (95% cotton, 5% lycra)
Cotton Canvas 240gsm (100% cotton)
Bamboo Lycra 230gsm (95% bamboo, 5% lycra)
French Terry 280gsm (95% cotton, 5% lycra)
Minky 300gsm (100% Polyester)
Waterproof Canvas 280gsm (100% Polyester)
Double Gauze 125gsm (100% Cotton)
Our waterproof canvas is a brand new one (February 2024)! Please order a sample if you would like to see/test the new base. Thankyou
Fabric Cuts
All our fabrics are priced per half metre (50cm).
When ordering please refer to the below units to ensure you order enough fabric.
1 unit/quantity = 0.5 metres of fabric
2 units = 1 metre of fabric
3 units = 1.5 metres of fabric
Fabric Print Size
We offer 2 different print sizes: Average and Mini. Please refer to the product title to ensure you are ordering the correct size. Please note that the fabric scale is +/- 1cm
PLEASE NOTE: WHEN PRINTING MINI, THE PRINT CAN OCCASIONALLY PRINT DARKER THEN PICTURED ESPECIALLY IF THERE IS LOTS LINE WORK.
Fabric width
Our fabric width is 145-155cm depending on the fabric base you order.
Please allow up to 10% shrinkage during washing/drying. Some fabrics are prone to shrink by 10% in the wash while others may only shrink by 2%.
Care instructions
Cold machine wash with like colours. I recommend you prewash all fabric before sewing; although it is personal choice. If pre-washing please ensure you zigzag stitch around the cotton woven to avoid fraying.
Colour of fabric can appear different on different phone screens and computer monitors. Fabric may have a slight colour difference on different bases as well. Waterproof canvas and Minky print very vibrant due to being polyester.
